The platform counts the number of working days (Monday–Friday) between the contract's start and end dates and converts that into weeks. Budget hours = weekly hours commitment × number of weeks.
Weekends are excluded from this calculation automatically. The result is shown as the "Budget Hours" KPI card on the project timesheet page.
